Start before dawn and hike to Poon Hill. This hill at 3,210 meters is a wonderful viewpoint preferred for sunrise views. At this melting pot, you can find people from many countries in one morning. Snap away happily capturing the beautiful sunrise views over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Later return to Ghorepani, have breakfast and trek to Tadapani for the night.
Start after a leisurely breakfast. Today we will have an easy descent from Tadapani through the forests and hills until we arrive at Ghandruk. The village of Ghandruk at 2,000 meters is home of the Gurung people, aka the legendary Gurkha. Stay in their warm hospitality and enjoy at the foothills of the Annapurna mountain range.
After breakfast, descend along an easy route from the Gurung village of Ghandruk. Arrive at Syauli Bazaar, take a short break and follow the river through forests until you arrive at Nayapul. As our trek concludes, we take an hour’s drive from here to Pokhara. Spend the evening by the lake and later head to your hotel for a relaxing sleep.
