With spectacular views of the mountain ranges, Mustang trek compromise of deserted and pastured land. This therefore is also known as one of the most untouched mountains due to the reason that its beauty never fades away. The region is furthermore unique in its own culture as they not only have pastured fields for grazing animals and for different crops but they also have huge statues of deities where they have helped in conserving their tradition and culture. The other thing that Mustang is famous for besides its landscape is that it has a wide range of Thanka art which is one of the attractions for tourists that they can take along with them as a form of souvenirs as well. Moreover, due to its ancient rock cave settlements, temples and monasteries, it is renowned as “Cave Civilization” by the historians and archeologists. For trekking, however, you will need up to 30 days if you want to explore all the places of this region which includes the upper and lower Mustang region. The maximum altitude of the region however is 5,200 meters. In the trek, you will pass by places like Jomsom, Kagbeni, Lo Manthang, Yara, Domo Darkunda, Muktinath, Pokhara which too have amazing views. The best season to go here is from April-May and August-November. The rough range of price calculation however, from Kathmandu for tourists will be $2025. And as we have to talk about the difficulty, then this trek has quite difficult trails. So, you are not permitted to go for Solo travelling here as you will require at least 2 people for going here.
